University Synagogue and Irvine United Congregational Church will participate by sharing dinner and services and with speaker Jonathan Kirsch on his book “The Grand Inquisitor’s Manual: A History Of Terror In the Name Of God” on Friday, Apr. 27, 2012 Time: 7:00 p.m. Location: 3400 Michelson Dr., Irvine. Newport Harbor Lutheran Church and the Newport Beach Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will participate in a progressive dinner at each of the congregations facilities on Saturday, May 12 6 pm. The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Newport Beach will hold an open house at the Christian Science Reading Room on Wednesday, May 2nd from 10 am to 4 pm. Location: 3315 Via Lido, Newport Beach. For more information contact Noie LaRue at firstch@mac.com

The Bahai Faith will hold an Interfaith Devotional and Nature Walk on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 9:30 am. Location: Upper Newport Back Bay, corner of Irvine and University Drive. They invite families and children. Bring a prayer or a writing of your choosing to share. Musical instruments are also welcome.

The Islamic Education Center of Orange County will participate by inviting different faith groups to join in for refreshments and Friday services on May 04, 2012 from 1:00‐2:00 p.m. Then, from 8:30‐ 11:00 p.m. IECOC will welcome youth from different faiths to attend the youth group gathering for dinner, discussion, and socializing. First Church of Christ the Scientist Costa Mesa will hold Open House at the Reading Room that will include tour of their new Inter‐active digital library, May 1‐5, 2012 from 11 am to 3 pm daily. April 29, 2012 9:30 – 12 Earth Day at St. Mark  Presbyterian Church – Worship Service 9:30 – 10:30  centered around “A Life of Abundance – Ethics and Energy with exhibits and activities for all ages from 10:30 – noon. 11 – 12 Dr. David Feldman will give his insights into the role of faith and the environment.
